Hi, this is my first post on here. I have just bought a 1987 high top camper and have noticed that the plastic trim on the gutter is missing in parts. Looking on ebay, the mini trim looks very similar. does anyone know if it fits the T25 gutter and would the profile be similar to the original as I have a drive away awning that fits onto the plastic trim.
Thanks
Adrian

Re: Mini Gutter trim
i have mini gutter trim on mine, you'll need 2 packs one for each side. Mine does come off if i start trying to attach awning to it, but then i never put any adhesive on, just snapped it on....

Re: Mini Gutter trim
Thanks Kathyshack, thats good news as the mini stuff on ebay is £5 to £7 per side against £19 per side from justkampers for the proper stuff.

Re: Mini Gutter trim
Used the Mini trim on mine - only prob. was I did it on a cold day and had to warm it in hot water to enable it to unbend from the coil!

Re: Mini Gutter trim
I run a number of Minis; it does look as though it should fit (I've no gutter trims on my van and mine looks right without them). A couple of things from experience: It tends to shrink over time, so leave it a bit long to begin with. It also tends to come off, even on Minis, and I generally stick it in place with Tigerseal or a similar PU sealant now.

Re: Mini Gutter trim
Personally I wouldn't bother, all they ever do is trap moisture inside, and help the rusting process. IF you do decide to fit one, it would be a good idea to ensure you put plenty of waxoil in thee if your not goint to glue it down

Re: Mini Gutter trim
Thanks everyone for your quick and helpful replies. Very impressive forum and club.
After A. Kirks reply, I will treat any surface rust then glue the stuff on and hopefully this should also reduce or stop the shrinkage problem.
