Westfalias

Post by chuckle-bus-tom »

Hi all!

Does anyone have any Westfalia product information or weblinks that name and describe the different interiors? I'm having trouble with my insurance company and a few (as yet unhelpful) Westfalia specialists in getting the units ripped out of our van replaced. I may be completely mistaken about it being a Westie interior, but going by the door handles, pop-top and trim I'm sure it is.

Here are some pictures to show what was in there, and what pieces I'm trying to track down. I'm not deluded enough to try and get the exact same unit, but Easter is fast coming up and I have ten days off work that I really want to tour in!

Sorry to be a broken record about this whole incident!

Is your van RHD?
I might be wrong but I though all Westies where LHD. I didn't think Westfilia did RHD interiors.

Have a quick look at these link and you can see the differences

Check out the site I linked to on this one about Devon brochures, simply swap "Devon" for "Westfalia" and you'll find lots of pics, one of which will hopefuly look like yours did

Thanks all!

Looks like I was way off the mark, its a Reimo conversion. Great, even harder to find a replacement!

I would try Ebay.de for complete units and many of the trim bits are still available from Reimo via Concept Multicar

good luck in your search after your lousy luck at being robbed !
