i believe she said she 'lost' money on it,. & was very honest when she sold it.. :(
you shouldn't be buying a Bay without knowing what you're looking for anyway,
new owners got a good deal & it had more things going for it than rust,
i really hope she has better luck this time,

Our 2l CU is sweet, needed a rebuild recently, but I dont think thats unusual in these circles

It pulls ok and it will get to 70 but we tend to keep it at 60

I Agree kate, If Jen sais a grand is a lot too pay for a van Then she must have got a bit less than that for hers. Very honest i think. Ive seen the remains of Bays going for more than a grand  By the way Jen Welcome to the club. Rick.

Ooh! Flip! The Talbot Express idea went out of the window, it was just so ugly, it had no character and I just couldn't love the thing, all bad reasons for not buying I know!
Just gone and impulsively agreed to buy a red T25 on Ebay, not paid for it yet, but realised after I fell in love with the lovely new interior and then forgot the fact that it has no hob, no grill, no sink, Oh Blast! I'm such a stupid cow!
Kate, is the offer of the oven still open??! Got a spare sink in your garage too?? What a silly cow, there was me saying a the camping aspect was the most important thing to me and I go and buy one that does not have anything I need for camping!! Oh, it does have a fridge though :rofl

PICTURES PLEASE!!!! :D :D :D

so you bought one with a new interior but you want to 'ad' sink cooker ect,
which will require taking out or adapting some of the interior!!
oh what are you like! :P

anyway, yep we have an oven, & a grill, might take the sink out of our hi-top eventually
too,. as we never use it!

just show me the pics :ok

I'm not going to count my chickens yet and best not show off any pictures, the guy I spoke to on the phone said put £3k on as a bid and I will end the auction for you, deal done, so I did and the auction is still running?! I phoned him and he said he was with someone and was a bit busy and would ring me back, we are now about 4 hours since the initial conversation and he hasn't got back, I think I may have been taken for a bit of a mug and used to push the bids up, someone is bound to outbid me then he will have to sell it to them and I can't go any higher

I could ofcourse be completely misreading it and he may be genuine and busy, but if he doesn't watch out then he will get more bids and I be stuffed

So as I say, not counting my chickens :?

I presume it is the red pop top in Staffs? it's been on E- Bay before, I would advise viewing before buying, obviously you can't with this ending soon, can you retract your bid this close to the end of the auction? if you feel uneasy about it, better to lose face or good feedback score than 3 grand.

I made a big mistake once buying a bay window van without looking at it first. Soon learnt my lesson though and managed to sell it on and break even. Since then I have always looked at a handfull of vehicles and given them a good going over to make sure I know what Im buying and that Im happy. If there are any concerns then its best to walk away. You need to make sure you are buying the right van and that it has exactly what you want like a fridge, hob etc. Its too easy to buy on impulse then regret it a few weeks later when you realise its just a pile of rust. However your budget may determine what kind of van you can afford.

Just my bit of advice. Hope you get one and a good one at that

:ok

How the heck do you put photos on here?? I've tried putting in the HTML code, the image code from photobucket and simply copying and pasting, can't get any of them to work??? Am I being thick?!
