spank on
eyup matey onion... tha knows it's unfortunate but hey...do I give a fu.k?
actually it's quite a meaty challenge, thanks to Baxter I may have a superior engine to the shepster!
I got my standard replacement camshaft for £55, the crank was £250 and it's new not reground. (from Volkspares IIRC) The crank, cam and main bearings are surprisingly cheap, add to that a gasket set, waterpump, oil pump, oil cooler, piston rings etc that does soon build up.

The barrels and pistons are going to eat a hole (big) im me renovation fund Ian, the crank feels smooth and unafected by any debris.
If I cancel the wessie tour then hey... bring it on!
Thanks mark, I think I'm sorted now.

Can I call you at home mate?
not got me moby so I need your home number
sorry i do not know how to drag the question to my replay. but why a different cam? i have put different/performance cams into motorcycle engines before. They rev out better and produce more power. The fuel consumpion did not seem to alter, although i probably was not looking at that as closely then. I remember them being more flexible, ie better power everywhere, is it not the same with these engines?
