where to get 1/4" pipe unions?

Post by aec »

Anyone know where to get a couple of 1/4" pipe unions (and a bit of 1/4" pipe) used on the short length of solid pipe connecting to the clutch slave cylinder? Didn't think it would be a problem but it's 1/4" pipe, not the usual 3/16" brake pipe. Mine are totally knackered (as are my knuckles) after a pig of a job removing the slave cylinder!!

cheers!

You want M12 x 1mm unions. Most larger motor factors like Partco stock them. Or by post from somewhere like this.

It's not 1/4, it's 6mm.

Decided to have one made up in the end, rather than invest in the tools. This place did it: http://www.brake-pipe.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Everything's all back together, just waiting for my spare foot to arrive now so I can bleed the system. :)
