Van Vegetation

Post by tigger2000 »

I seem to have some vegetation growing between the panes of the sliding window behind the sink. It's a lovely bright green moss, which just regrows every time I scrape it out. Does anyone have any tips for getting rid of it or should I just sow some mustard and cress in there instead?

I get that too. You're right, scraping doesn't get rid at all. Not sure about mustard and cress; I'm considering asparagus. Do you park it in the same space/direction constantly? I do and thought that might be at least partially responsible - I've mulled with the idea of 'garden' moss killing stuff etc but don't know what it'd do to the paintwork.....

Bit of 2:1 bleach/water sprayed on should do after a scrape. Obviously then making sure you clean up any excess on paintwork and window rubbers pretty sharpish.
