could anybody please tell me if a 2litre Aircooled engine manual gearbox from a 1979 bay will fit into my automatic 1981 T25, it has got a seized 2litre Aircooled engine at the moment, any comments please thanks alan

Bellhousing on gearbox is identical but you''l probably need to raid a second hand VW place for correct engine carrier if I remember rightly.
