Insurance Renewal Time

Post by moanthebairns »

Got my quote in from Sureterm, same as last year £198 - but reading through the small print noticed that the actual policy is only £125 (from Equity Red Star) and the admin costs from Sureterm is £72!
Anybody recommend another company to try. Have been trying to get on the Equity Red Star web site but I think they must only work through brokers

I've just got my insurance renewal notice from the NFU Mutual. Last year it was £120ish, this time it's £180ish. Also, it says that campers cannot now be insured on a car policy and must be insured as a Light Goods Vehicle. Does anyone know if this is the case across the insurance companies?

I got some good quotes from Just Kampers, Flux and Caravanwise just recently.

A few others were recommended in a thread I started a bit further down but I can't recall them off the top of my head.

You need a classic policy anyway, otherwise they treat these old Buses as a 20 year old allegro or summat  ... sound's to me like NFU Mutual B.S.
