Hiya,
If the top up tank is full and the resevoir is part empty then you are sucking air in somewhere as the van cools, try the pressure cap, and pipe to top up tank.....
Red flashing temp light....can you help ?

Cheers as I said all seems to be sorted now, but I think im going to change the pressure cap and pipe.

hello there!!! This is my first reply to a post!!! I'm a new member to club 8090 and have just bought our first T25. It's a 1984 w/c wolfsburg special edition in two tone brown and beige with chrome trim and bumpers. The van's temp gauge is up and down like a yoyo and the heater's are only warm when driving along the road!! i'm going to try the air lock fix first as you did and hopefully i will havea result like yourself!!! I'll let you know how i get on and thanks for reading my reply> Lee (retrokamper).
