2 appliances off 1 gas bottle?

Post by Chrissyt »

I want to run my propex and a gas burner off one bottle, how do i do this? Can you get a fitting to run 2 regulators off one bottle?

I'm guessing you cant run the two items off one regulator?

You can run both from the one regulator. The regulator will regulate the pressure but allow as much gas through as you need.

I ran three appliances off one gas bottle, fridge, two burner and grill stove and gas heater.
No worries.

Surely they would be fixed appliances and the "T"ing would be in the permanent pipe work! You only want to be making one joint and using one flexible pipe when you change bottles. And I agree one regulator will almost certainly run three appliances simultaneously.

I was running 5 appliances of one reg. in my merc 508d (- now down to 4) with no problems. As said all the tee-ing is done in your fixed pipe work.

I found them extremely easy to deal with and fast delivery too  Still, they may have been having an 'off' day
