Autohomes conversion front seats....

Post by 280stiracer »

Was just looking at my front seats in my autohomes camper 1987 model think its a kameo not sure..

anyway the stitching has had it on there so was looking at recovering them then i started to look a little closer to find that they are just covers them selves but really really good ones!!!!! under the covers is wat i spose is the original material befor the conversion???? maybe?? so which leads me to ask is there anywhere i can get these covers from??? or does anyone out there have any????

cheers peeps

these campers are full of surprises i find.... good ones most of the time!!!

re-upholstered caravelle seats are around £240-£260 fabric dependant at a place by me.
I doubt that the covers were autohomes, they usually re upholstered the original seats.

it did look like they were redone

but then we found them to be covers but the material is the same material used in the conversion?? so that lead me to believe they were original but yes may be wrong???? dunnno really cheers for that dont really want to spend that much on some seats thats the only problem...

will see what my mum can fix up she used to do it now she has a stencil to use im sure she will be fine lol :D
