Wheel size and lift kit
I've looked at the wiki and read some stuff about wheel size on a 14" Syncro but can you go to a 16" wheel without extending the arches if you lift the van by 2"? Also what PCD adaptor do you get and where do you get it from to put say 16" wheels from a T5 on?
Cheers
Rob.

Re: Wheel size and lift kit
Hi Rob
I'm using T5 rims on my DOKA. I got a set of PCD adapters from http://www.kinkymicks.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, go to bottom of page and click on 'terms and conditions' to find his contact details - I don't think he lists them as such so its best to 'phone.
They cost me £100+£10 &P - yes they're cheap as they appear to be produced from a 'universal' steel billet, 160mm OD with a 80mmID (23mm thick)so they don't fit the T3 wheel boss which is 66.5mm.
T5 rims have an ET of about 50 I think so using the adapters will bring the effective ET somewhere to the normal T3 value.
It's a little bit involved (like most of my projects) but I'm in the process of fitting T5 calipers and disc all round and plan to have a set of 'boss adapters' custom made - I'm fitting the adapters to the wheel carrier (hub) then the disc attaches to the adpater.
I believe 'proper' adapters can be obtain from a number of supplies but you will be looking at over £300.
Hope that helps.....
Doug

Re: Wheel size and lift kit
I meant to add that I've found that 235/70x16 BFG ATs will just fit - clearances are a tad tight though!
