Gear Knobs?

Post by Llamapup »

I know it sounds cheesy, but I'm tempted to get a fancy gear knob for my 2T5. I'm keen to keep the diagram of the shifting pattern though. Are there any other cars that have the same shifting lay out (R over 1 on left)? It seems fairly unique.

I knew someone with a 1968 Porsche 911L, that had the same dog leg box and the knob to match ... but I don't think he'd sell you the knob or, knowing him, you'd really want to spend the amounts of money he would ask for it!

... there's one on EBay - 230322695344 ends tomorrow, biding currently stands at £65 + P&P ... tempted??? :twisted: :twisted:

<eit again>

Looks like there's a Beemer out there with a knob the matches ... EBay again 230323620707 pity the photo's so carp.
