Missing parts for exhaust

Post by Vee_Dub »

Wondered if anyone can help.

Bought a full exhaust from gsf, well i thought i was buying a full exhaust until they came back to say they couldnt provide them all and would not be able to get them.

these are the exhaust pipes i got. Anyone able to tell me what i need to still get? It was too cold and dark to have a look under the van tonight.

This is the rear exhaust pipe i have? do you know were i could get the other parts and brackets, nuts and bolts?

Thanks in advance

1.9 or 2.1, which 2.1 ?
VW may still have some of the bits, JK may have some

Tried Europarts?

They got me t25 throttle cable when gsf couldn't get one.
Need a whole system then? I wish I'd repaired mine after hassle fitting whole systm -and found that manifold pipes which look as tho they're about to fall off but were thick enough to last for years and years....after I'd sawn them off.

Thanks lads, i have got what i hope is the right part from Justkampers.

I may attempt to take off the 20 year old exhaust some time today weather permitting.

Other than being careful not to set fire to van when heating the bolts and that up, is there anything i should look out for when trying to take it off, that may not be obvious from the vw workshop diagrams?

It is a nightmare? might not be able to get a jack under the van today.

thanks again.
