i dont think so.they can be removed quite easily and the bodywork looked at.

Tongue in cheek Rob! They look rather good

They are on the sides and it is planking
Body-kit side mouldings maybe, when they first started to be seen (early 80's), think some of the Fiats then had them

they look great,really sets it off..i'm jealous but from what ive seen on fleabay you need a second mortgage to go all the way round :(

pull plank towards you from below.there are stainless brackets with a bolt to the bracket.(arrowed) you will need to remove each bolt then the plank will pull off.

there is a place in the uk that do the full big bumper kit along with side planks for 250 pounds they also fit them,

i will have a look for the addy but its a scrppy in the west midlands. In fact they were on telly not long back fixing up that spitty
on thre discovery channel??
