Now that REALLY did look like fun! Lucky you had the stove and some supplies to cook some food though... what with the bread tray (and presumably all the sandwiches?) falling off the roof Jake
I played on a heavily gritted road on the way back from work yesterday which was nowhere near as good fun!
brilliant boys, that's the one time in the last thirty nine years I wished I lived in London cos I could have gone out and played too, all over here in 4 hours, but hey that was 4 more hours of whiteness than we've had in last 10 years
Off to Scotland this avo, might be fun on way back or at the w/e maybe
Plenty of snow up here still. I've never seen more disaproving looks in my life though, seems your not surposed to enjoy it whilst driving.
Todays mission was going caving, we said we would over a week ago so I wasn't going to cansel because of some wether. Picked a cave right at the end of remote but not too chalangeing greenlane, and took the scenic route there. T'was awsome, though my camera doesn't seem to like the cold and keeps turning off before I could take pictures.
Probubly didn't have the required safety kit on bord. Shovel, no; winching divice/second vehicle, no (rope and SRT kit might do something?); phone signal, no... We did have the provisions to cook bacon though, that was a good plan!
Syncros are so much fun in the snow! Does feal funny meeting people on the high roads of the peak district dressed as actic explorers, in 20m visability; when your sitting in a nice warm armchair listening to a CD.
