We went out too for a bit of fun in the syncro.

Firstly we rescued 2 stuck vehicles. A girl over the road had reversed her car down a step she couldn't see in the snow, while trying to turn round:

Then we met this fellow in a transit who decided not to go up and over the little canal bridge and then got stuck and couldn't turn around:

Notice the guy has slip-on shoes :D

This is a view of the allotments:

Then we went on a country drive on the Herts/Bucks borderlands, very beautiful, but incredibly slippery under the snow:

Well it can be fun and pretty ,until you HAVE to shovel for 20 minutes every morning just to get out of your parking spot. Also very happy since i got a locker transmission

Did all my playing in the snow on road tyres and never got stuck or was unable to get somewhere. Wonder how much better the BFG MTs would have been.

Found my Machos MTs quite good, but dreadful when there's ice under the snow... slid for yards on some roads when applying brakes

Think MTs like deep fresh snow :ok

Looking at that video on GC, I think you meant 'white-laneing' :?:

As for champagne in the snow, looked like yet another variety of euro-pi$$ to me :)

PS. The focus-ring is the one between the aperture and zoom :rollin

Hey some of you got some real snow. I heard parts of London got 30 cms , which even here would be a decent amount for one snowfall. Didn't look like that much on the telly but still. Of course it wouldn't have shut everything down, maybe just outlining schools. A few years ago Toronto got a real blizzard [they are much more south than us and don't get as much ] and the whole country is still laughing at them 6 years later because the mayor called in the army.

Simply cannot believe the amount of 2wd and arctics on the road, Both major routes shut out of our town due to jack knifed lorries. Wasn't a problem for us as we took all of the little side roads.

Local 4x4 have a response team and are on standby, they had a request from the fire service and have got 15 4x4 on standby

Roll on tomorrow, predicted snow again and Georgia's school has already said that they are shut :D
