Play in top ball-joint....What other bushes should I do?

Post by KarlT »

Having to replace top-ball joint. But am getting squeeks & groans from all over the front suspension. Are there any that would be obvious to replace when doing ball-joint.
Are there any rules about doing top & bottom together or both sides. Thinking of keeping van for the long haul.
Are these poly-bushes really a great improvement over standard?

Yes. I swapped our knackered steering rack bushes for these and they make a significant difference.

depends what it is, maybe better on rubber bushes on a syncro working hard off road as more damped, but agree with Ian the steering rack poly bushes are nice
Maybe top wishbone bushes causing the squeaks
Brickerks sells the best quality parts
you don't have to do the bottom if you do the top
