Louvered window, what conversion?

Post by thebaldyman »

Hi

I have this louvered window which I am selling in the for sale section. I was told it was from a Westy but have since been advised it isn't. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it's from as I don't want to mis-inform anyone.

the dimensions are width 41" x high 15 1/4" (104cmx39cm)

any help is appreciated.

cheers

Auto-Sleepers Ltd used that type of louvred window in their T25 campers. They fitted them as the middle offside window ie. opposite the sliding door. Other converters may have used them as well. :)

a friend has a devon with that same setup too. i just think it was an available option for any conversion as you see them on alsorts.
the important thing is the size as they were also done for bays etc. but were i think a smaller size.

Mine's got the fly screen on it. Can the mesh fly screen be replaced if it gets torn?

Thanks for the replies! The interior I bought was an Autosleeper one so it would make sense that this window is from an Autosleeper conversion as it came with the interior when I bought it. I wanted to fit it to my van which started life as a Viking but due to the condition of the interior when I bought it ie knackered I went out and bought a nice Autosleeper interior fairly locally to me to replace it with.

The flyscreens on my window are intact with no rips etc. Difficult to see in the pictures though. I really wanted to fit it to mine but it just isn't possible :(
