Post by KarlT »

Taken off my old minging pop-top but can't afford a new one. Thinking about giving it a soak in the bath but whats best to use. And what should I treat it with afterwards?
Any suggestions?

I cleaned mine with JML magic eraser sponge. You can get it at Robert Dyers. Don't know how it works but like it says on the box "it's magic". Does a bloody good job, I started out with a washing up sponge and some cilt bang, cleaned it a bit but was really hard work. Then my wife said try the magic eraser sponge, I was quiet dismissive but then had to eat humble pie as they really work. All you do is get them wet then rub the dirt off. When the sponge gets dirty squeeze it out in water then start again :ok
If you're better than the leading brand, why aren't you the leading brand?

I clean mine with ' Dettol, Anti-bacterial, Mould & Mildew remover'. Ace stuff will get anything off, but use in a well ventilated area or you will be as high as a kite before long
Mmm what's that strange smell from my exhaust...
