Insurance

Post by TravellingChick »

Hi

Just googling around looking for a good insurance deals.

So far have tried Caravanwise which were pretty cheap and Adrian Flux at about £80 more expensive.

Are there any other good specialist insurers out there?

TIA
TC

Cool, thanks.

Just Kampers are coming up tops at present excl. breakdown cover which I already have with RAC.

Just trying to find out how much RAC renewal is against the £75 odd quid Flux and JK are loading for breakdown.

Will check out the others later.

That's over £700 per annum, seems a huge amount.

My "Gold" quote was £256 per annum without NCB as I'll be keeping it on my other car till I sell it. The campervan I am really hoping to buy tomorrow will be my daily driver as and when the car is sold.

Try Camptons in Godstone - 01883 742460. Been with them for years - excellent rates for campers, and very good, helpful people. Last year when our A Class camper suffered a broken windscreen; the screen proved so rare (ie expensive!) that Autoglass gave up on it. Camptons pulled the strings and found someone else to fit it. Recommend them to anyone on price and service. (And no, I have no connection with them.)

Let us know how you get on.

Don't know how true this is but Just Kampers told me on wednesday that both HIC and Adrian Flux are their sister companies and basically the quotes should be all very similar for that reason......

You could be right as I did their "ring me now" thingy on both JK and Flux and it was pretty much the same "form" with the call back.

JK beat Flux tho. Will try the other recommendations today and see how they compare.
