newbie again

thanks for the replies,the camper is Aircooled,the previous owner started to do some work on the bodywork,he has filled in around the fuel filler
not as I would like it,the bottom 6inches has been stonechipped(dont know what it is hiding).the van looks ok apart from rust on the rearside windows on the drivers side,the sliding door is rusty as buggery at the bottom,I will check all the usual places,thanks to this wonderful website,
trouble is it is 7 miles from where I live so I cant just nip out and play on it,will sort something out when the weather gets better

Sounds almost identical to mine, right down to the rust andd stonechipping. Was it red?? lol
