I believe some zig units like the CF8 ?? have a built in charger so will charge the leisure battery when hooked up. I have a standard autosleeper control panel in mine which does not have the built in charger :(

Yes it does on a autohomes with a cf8 but make sure the middle switch is down to ONSITE or your starter battery will drain!

Over simplified explaination, but... To check, use a volt meter (VOM) on battery before plugging in (12.6v ish), then after plugging in (12.8+v ish). If voltage reading goes up after plugging in, it will charge battery. :ok
