Oil Strainer

Post by Dubstar »

Anyone done one on a 2ltr CU? Going to change mine at the weekend when I do my oil change, just wondering are they a pain or dead easy? And what do they do?

They are designed to be washed out and re-used. New gaskets, new soft washer on the nut and don't go mad tightning it. Overtightening can cause the support bolt to break the casting inside, then you gat a really nasty leak form the side of the case.
