Mine wasn't working either when i got my truck. Checked underneath. Removed the spark plug. Tested it and put it back. Cleaned the connector. Removed all the ground connections and clean and sealed them with di-electric grease. Checked all the fuses. Turned on the switch, waited 30 seconds, fan came on, then 1 1/2 minutes later it produced some smelly heat. Ran it full blast with the windows rolled down for a couple of days. Now it works great, except i don't turn it all the way up [clockwise] otherwise it does smell of unburnt fuel. Read the bentley, scratch your head while trying to understand exactly what they mean.
