I went to The Big Chill for the first time this year as Leonard Cohen was playing. I have been to Glastonbury a couple of times and I wasn't sure what to expect with a smaller festival. I thoroughly enjoyed myself starting with dub poets and bongo fury round the camp fire at the Sunrise end on Thursday night, through to Camille. LC and Lee "Scratch" Perry on the Sunday night. A fantastic experience. I got my van too late to get a van ticket so had to camp under canvas for the last time.
I therefore went online the first day tickets were available for 2009 and made sure I got a gold plated van ticket. I am also fully paid up for Glastonbury again. It will be sunny at the end of June and early/mid August in 2009 so will need to pack my sunscreen and be able to leave wellies at home!
