Struggles to start when hot!
Yipee - passed MOT today, but still have a problem of starting the van when the engine has been left for about 10 minutes - stopping for petrol, etc. Everything turning over okay but just not kicking in. Any chance that the petrol could be evaporating from carb or not being fed to carb. Also sometimes turn key and just clicks, no action, could this be related? As you can probably guess, I haven't got a clue ... anybody help?

Re: Struggles to start when hot!
When it clicks it could be battery conection or solanoid going west
Could be vapour lock when hot on the carb

Clicking starter is an earth/connection problem or a sticky solenoid.. the latter is quite common.
As for the non firing up I would suggest mixture.
as long as all the other alleys have been tried.
