My horn is working intermittently. I have checked the steering wheel horn button thing and it appears ok. Is it more likely to be the actual horn itself? If so can someone please tell me where it is located? The van is 1989 so the horn is getting on a bit I guess.
Thanks Katie

Mine had an intermitiant horn recnently and it was ware on the contact in the indicator stalk that pushes on the horn ring, bit of reshaping and all seems well again.

Re: Intermittent Horn/hooter
Had same on mine but in the opposite way...it worked fine - occaisionaly when i turned the steering wheel it went off...only did it every now and then until one day we were in a queue getting into a show and it just went mental, as soon as i even touched the wheel everyone got a hoot - at first i got funny looks but then worked up to getting serious abuse
reshaped and cleaned contacts in steering wheel and it fixed
