The cap/clip thingy on my dipstick (the van, not mine! :roll: ) slids up and down on the shaft and gives me false readings.
Could some kind soul with a JX measure their stick from the full mark to the underside of the cap so I can fix mine.

Due to variations you might still be out a bit...

If you are going to change the oil and filter soon, drain and change filter, put 4.5 litres in exactly, run the engine, leave it 10 or 20 minutes to drain back and then having fixed your dipstick cap permanently, calibrate the max mark with a file
