i think im still having the age old problem with the rad cap....the blue one with the spout!!..bought a vw one last year and doesnt seem to be any better....i have to use tpfe tape on the threads so i dont tighten it down too much...and the quality of it is generally quite poor.....so just wondered if the gsf ones are any good for a fiver???

Must be either you or the tank!
Is it split between the neck and the sender hole like they all do?
GSF radiators are fine for 1.9 petrols, not suitable for 2.1's or Diesels.

theres a good chance its the thread on the tank.i had to replace the tank on mine recently.as the thread was cream crackered..
