Your upper suspension arm will have 2 round bushes, one on each side. You could try spraying some white grease or silicone lubricant in them, usually keeps them quiet!
Wouldnt recommend Wd40 as it may have a softening effect on the rubber.

Yup but unless they're worn out, you could go to a whole heap of effort only to get the squeak again. There are plenty of us that have 'the squeak' so you're not alone. Try the silicon spray first - lot simpler. Road humps often set them off.

The top wishbone rubbers are a bit of a weak point...fortunately failed bushes are easy to spot: look from the front of the suspension at the large top allen key bolt going through the centre of the bush....it should be pretty central in the bush..however, if the head of the bolt is visably and substantially off center it almost definately is knackered! and the pair on that side needs changing (you could argue that if one side has gone the other side won't be far behind) but that's up to you. Geometry (camber and tracking will need re-setting afterwards)
