Just taken my eber out of my Joker and i found that the cap (HT?) for the glow plug was poorly connected to the cable. The cap appears to have a tapered screw on the wiring connection end which must connect to the cable somehow. Someone had hacked a blue crimp connector onto the cable and pushed it onto the screw thread (and covered it in lots of tape). Eber wasn't working before I took it out - fuel pump cliking ok etc. - but I'm guessing either the voltage to the glow plug was too low or this crappy connection was the problem. Anyhow, there's plenty of other info on here for testing it all out, but I'd like to know how the glow plug cap is supposed to be connected to it's cable. Can anyone advise?
cheers J

Gonna hook it back up to test it (out of the van) sometime soon.
