T25 Camper Buying Advice

Post by wardandy »

I am looking at buying a T25 Pop Top Camper. Could someone please recommend a good auto-mechanic in London that could do a mechanical inspection for us before we buy.

I'm looking at a 1987 LHD 1.6 Diesel Turbo Pop Top. It has done 60 000km on a reconditioned engine, in pretty reasonable condition and comes with camping equipment and sat nav. The seller is asking £4200, I know its hard to comment with only a few details but is this in the right ball park of what you would expect to be spending?

Cheers, Andy

Hiya, welcome to the Club.

Should be of interest to you  The money could be about right IF it's a factory conversion ... i.e. Westfalia.

Hi Andy,

From what I've seen (I'm fairly new to this as well) the T25s price usually depends on the conversion company as Ian has said and obviously condition etc.

Its now the time to buy as its the winter so may be worth looking around. Sounds reasonable with gear though. Camping extras can be expensive, bike racks etc especially.

Hope this helps a little.

Will
