ground clearance

Post by chris.S »

hello well i have my van/camper which currently sits at standard ride height.
all i want it to do is make it handle better but also look better without going to low
and stoping me from getting in to campsites ect
so how low is yours?
what set up?
and what ground clearance do you have?

Better handling starts with uprated gas/adjustable shocks, start with those which is a nice Sunday afternoons work and if you want to improve it further go down with harder springs starting at -35mm Multivan springs down to -50mm for the best of all worlds... :ok

And on a similar subject, my panel van seems to sit higher at the front ? is this the norm ? and if so would I be able to lower just the front, would make gettin in n out much easier, want to keep the back high as where I work is prone to flooding! or should I avoid water all together in a t25?!
Any suggestions :?:

If your van is sitting higher at the front, you may have some very tired rear springs. It might be worth checking they are safe to drive on. My Triumph Dolomite Sprint suffered from this problem.

I sold the Sprint to get the campervan. I love Triumphs though. I miss my Sprint, but I really miss the Spitfire I had before it. I'll get another one day I'm sure.
