Caravelle make over

Post by woodguru »

I hope someone can point me in the right direction, I acquired a t25 caravelle manual (water cooled) last year and plan to do it up, the body work is really straight and solid, well except the rotted out near side front step! I've been trying to find one but have been told they don't make em any more ? anyone know where I can get one? I also want to put in a full length sunroof, again am struggling to find where I can get one? Also the previous owner put in a 1600 air cooled, me thinks this will be really under powered, it ain't running at the moment as it was left park up under a tree for 3 years, but I expect I will probably try to find a bigger air cooled lump and cog box, any suggestions really welcome. :idea

I have to drive an automatic but can get away with an automatic clutch, I had one fitted to my old LT 35 and it worked a treat, tho it did take a year or so to get it set up correctly.
Doh !!!!!!! 1990 1.9 petrol auto transporter and 1985 caravelle ( project )
