Rear wash wipe

Hi , I have a 1989 westfalia 1.6 and i can't workout how to turn the rear wash wipe off , to turn it on i push the stick forward and it sets it off to work intermitently but it dosen't mater how what i do it will not stop untill i turn the engine off.

With mine you just push it again once
