Smashed my slider door handle :(

Are slider handles the same on old and new?

the answer is, no.

Early vans (upto 85ish) are long external handles, late vans (from 85ish) are shorter external handles

thus, late will fit early (but look wrong) but early will not fit late unmoddyfied

i got them to fit just grind the end of the handle so it dont catch the door 2 min job the rev pimp daddy was a bit suprised too when he seen it but they will fit



ps as moki said the newer ones are shorter so will fit the older ones

just thought better say grind it where it sits against the door on the back end and not the length just take the old on off and put the other one on as norm and you will see what am on about works fine :ok
