Re: New Leisure Battery
I ended up unbolting mine on my westy joker.....tried every other combination of seat position first.
If you slide the seat to one end of the runners it reveals a series of 4 nuts...I undid each one in turn (captive thread so not going anywhere) then turned the seat to reveal the next and so on. Seat / base tilts up out of the way.
refit is the reverse.
Job done.
AFTER doing it this way I did read about the seat runner stops WHICH IS easier i think.....have a look / think....but both methods work.
I fitted a BOSCH silverline 096 battery .....about 60 quidd at GSF.
Cheers
Keith

Re: New Leisure Battery
Just went to take pics and battery is dead. The latch is little black piece on left side just in front of plastic cover over seat/back hinge point. It's 3mm thick and is triangular hinging from the back. Pick up on the front of it and it lifts out of the track side and seat will then slide on out the front.
Am charging battery now and will take pic and post in less then an hour... I hope.

Re: New Leisure Battery
pic of left side of seat:

Latch is up and back from end of copper wire. Just behind and in front of angled plastic side cover.
Latch:

Sorry for poor quality, but battery only let me take one pic.
Slide seat all the way forward.. Might need to tilt back back so it doesn't it steering wheel. Then slip seat back just a touch (so latch it's tight against stop) and lift up on front of latch (hinges behind plastic cover) and slide seat forward /off of track. Now release and turn 180 degrees. Battery cover should just clear swivel base.. and so should battery.
