Bodywork

Post by Pepperami »

With my old exhaust i cut the rear valence (see pic) Now i have bought some grille mesh to replace it. The question is what will be the best way of attaching it? I was going to weld it but just checked and its alloy.

Hi mate , when I did my dashtidy I used liquid metal to stick the 90 deg fixings to the dashtidy it does say on the tube that it is as strong as weld , don't know if it is but i couldn't prize it off .

Use sikaflex or tigerseal, will take you all of one minute, just hold securly with some bulldog clips to allow it to set. Can always slice it off at a later date with a craft knife.

how bad would it look if you chopped the whole thing off? - could be funky but could also be horrid!
