Hi there,
Haven't been here in a while had to register. I am having problems with the side door lock. Both the outside and inside handles don't opperate the lock mechanism. What do I do. Also could it have been an attempted break in?
The key shows as unlocked from the snib on the inside. But the key won't do anything and handles have no resistance except the return springs.
Any help appreciated.

Can you tell me the year of the van.Reason is i had a 1981 T25 devon conversion the inner sliding door handle would not open the door.I obtained the complete mechanism that the inner and outer handle wich the lock engages with there is a cable that is fitted to pull .Sold the van now without replacing that part. To help identify there should be a tung that comes out from that part through the sliding door.This then engages into the front piller post where there is a screwed metal component. The later one does not have this tung.I paid £20.00 of a guy on fleabay for it i can sell on plus postage.
