Folks
I have a 3 way fridge in my LHD Westy.
I used the gas to chill the fridge on a campsite than used the buttons to swtich over to battery for the drive home - forgot to turn the gas supply off. Got hom, emptied the van and left it for a week - came out to find the fridge still running off gas - even though the battery button was depressed.
Question - is the only way t kill the gas funtoin of the fridge to turn the gas off?

Could be, the gas is controlled by a thermocoupling thingy, never tried because the instructions say not to run the fridge on two power supplies at once

I usually have all the gas knobs turned off while travelling anyway, as I have a small check list of things on the back of the drivers sun visor.

That's not a bad idea,
1. Roof vent is closed.
2. ....
