Fuel tanks

Post by haz »

Im converting my van from a 1.9 to 2.1i, I know the outlet is 12mm on a 2.1 tank but will i get away with the standard tanks 8mm outlet and no swirl pot?

Searched back through the posts an found some people stating its not a problem but im being told it wont work. Also read something about an in line swirl pot, any ideas/experinces appreciated.

If i do need to change anyone know where i can get a 2.1 tank in the south east, postage will be a killer!
