Mine has silentgliss bent round the corners, you can get it in 2.5M lengths, try

Mine also has the lengths of silent gliss stuff. The corners it goes round are in the front of the cab and above the slider, these have turned out smooth and curvy presenting no restriction to the curtain.

I think I have only seen the plastic stuff you describe at caravan type shops.

If you have no curtains at all you may want to consider getting a full set of silver screen things instead. I have a cab set and they are rather lovely. No installation problems at all but obviously putting them up on site is a bit more involved than just drawing the curtains.

I went to Auto- Sleeper yesterday and got the tape you sew into the curtains' I also bought the little clips so I am sure they do the rails
