Hey guys. supposed to be going away to a family renunion tomorrow, an just as i was loadin up ma van, sum little smeg has smashed my sliding side window behind the drivers door. any1 know where i can get a replacement or know of any goos fixes? HELP rac have just quoted me £118 +vat to fit a pro tem piece of perspex. i think i may of made the old girl on the phone cry, soryy luv
Carlsberg dont do campers.......... but if they did they'd build the T25
you could ask m0cki, unsure if he's got any left, in the mean time try BNQ or somet'other diy store , they sell perspex by the sheet, or a piece of ply to do a temp repair.
You won't be able to get hardened glass quick, but most glass cutters can cut laminated glass to size.
I used this in a small louvre window (cost £2). Don't know whether such a glass would be suitable/possible for a sliding pane. Guess you would also need a stencil for it as well. Maybe an idea though.
