Starter Motor Bush

Post by mike the van »

Hi
I have a new bush ready to go in with a replacement starter motor, but should it be a tight fit on the shaft of the starter or have I got the wrong one, it is quite a loose fit
Any ideas?

Cheers

it goes into the hole that the starter shaft goes into, make sure you remove the one in there before trying to fit the new one.

Starter Motor Bush

i have the new bush and have tried it for size over the starter motor shaft and it isn't a snug fit, seems fairly loose is this correct. Or is it meant to be fairly loose to allow for movement?
