Where does the Starter Motor Live?

Hey Can anyone point me in the direction of the starter motor

I've got a Haynes here with me, but it doesn't point it out...just goes straight into how to take it off?

is your van water cooled, if it is, remove engine cover and it's on the right rear of the engine as you look at it. just where the gearbox joins te engine. If you're replacing it, make sure you change the brass bush too, it's a pain but worth it

Ah Cool, got it. I was looking in a less convenient place

I'm gonna replace the brushes today. I've heard a few people say it is a pain to do, but it looks straight forward or am I missing something????
