Good day all and to all the techies = thanks for getting the site back on so quick.

Anyway I am in need of a Auto-sparky.
Can anyone tell me if I have a local one in or about the Runcorn/Widnes or Warrington area.

Phredd = thanks for reading.

Call Glen on 07778-154-075. He is somewhere in the area, and is an awesome auto sparky. He has loads of T25 experience, and is reasonably priced. He wires professional rally cars for a living. He is a perfectionist, and does beautiful work. I have used him 3 or 4 times, and can recommend him highly.

Well after having the van off the road for other things its now back in A1 condition (well as good as).

Fitted the voltage regulator thanks to Gary (Gaz) and it works.
Seemingly this regulator is known for going duff and not just on VW's.
For info the part No is ""TCA 700Y"" = drops the voltage from 12v to between 9 and 10v. Maplins have them I am now told.

My thanks to Gary for the supply and to the LawnRanger and Diamond Hell for the info and to Steve of Gasure for putting me in the picture.

I am now M O B I L E so eyes peeled peeps. >>>
