Zig Unit Question

Post by AlexInAVan »

Sorry, but yet another question from me!

Im wiring in my Zig CF8 at the moment. Can someone tell me why i need to connect it to the starter battery as well as the LB. Does the unit act as a sort of split charger, and will it charge the leisure battery when im driving?

Alex,
Yes both the LB and starter battery have to be wired into the zig, I think the starter goes into terminal 1 & 2 and then the LB into 3 & 4.
The CF8 will charge your LB while driving but not as good as a single split charge relay.

Theres info on the Wiki and a PDF manual.
