We have just bought a t25 and are going away this weekend, the interior has a sink unti and cooker, and the pump wasnt connected to the sink unit.
We have purchased a new pump and hose from Jk and was just wondering how to fit it, sorry but i am a bit blonde :(

Water Pump

Post by mike the van »

i had to do the same with mine, depends on the conversion that you have is there a water tank or is it just a jerrycan?
Is there a switch and wiring already in place ? (Generally a footswitch on the floor by the sink) you can connect up to this.
Is the pump a submersible one ? (you dunk it in a full jerrycan)
Is there some hose in place already ?

If wiring absent not difficult to install, just need a fused feed via a switch to the pump and an earth. Use the leisure battery if fitted for the lights and such like. Then if using a jerry can work out somewhere accessible for it to live in a cupboard or under seat, fit the wiring and the hose and it should work.

Or just use a jerrycan for the first few trips until you get to know whats what on the van. Good luck
