If you're talking about just the flex its just as easy to make your own and a lot cheaper.Any good electrical shop will have everything you need and it can be as long or short as you want.

if you are making a lead, if it's over 15m best use 2.5mm arctic flex, other wise 1.5 will be fine! for the whole set up if you know what you are doing, screwfix seel everything you need, if you don't know what you are doing or are even a little unsure please do not try it your self. there is a fella on here who does a mobile serviceing thing and can do electrics think he's called pete. if you can wait bring it to the techy weekend and i'll give you a hand!

That'll be once more than me then ;)

I wouldn't invest a whole lot in it if you have other things that need the money and time IMHO.

my advice is to get a leisure battery instead - we camp every weekend and do not have a hook up!

Hook up makes winter camping easier for us (heating and lighting takes a lot of power) and I must admit we can take it or leave it in the summer. given the choice no hooky

Have to agree, we don't bother with hook up for weekends. They are good for longer breaks, though you could make do if you had to. The hook up makes thing a bit easier, toaster(my grill is worse than a Westys), kettle, hair straightners, mains electric light, hair dryer. fan for when it's hot, heater for when it's cold, mini oven so we could have a "proper" roast and an Iron to name some of the electrical things we have taken at one time or another. And although the fridge runs better on gas I feel safer with it on electric. Most of the above you can do without but on a 2 or 3 week trip the little luxuries are important.
